On the 8th of September Hamish and I hosted the NewstalkZB show “The Nutters Club.”
We talked with Henry Grey who sharesd his journey of growing up in Samoa, his dad passing away when he was 9 and the strong work ethic he gained when he want to live with his Auntie. While Grey was definitely a good worker, his real passion was playing rugby, and he was talented enough to be granted a scholarship to St Patrick’s College, Wellington. Grey shared his process of coming to terms with the reality of concussion, the prospect of his rugby dreams coming to an end, adjusting to the news that he and his now wife Chloe had a baby girl on the way and how his focus shifted to putting his daughters future first.
