Josh Darby

On the 5th of July Hamish Coleman-Ross and I hosted the NewstalkZB show “The Nutters Club.”

We talked with senior firefighter Josh Darby who after seeking help for anxiety and suicidal ideation, began looking into the psychological wellbeing of first responders. He speaks about his post graduate research and work to change ACC legislation aiming to recognise cumulative trauma as a mechanism of psychological injury for first responders.

With thanks to NZ on Air.
