On the 25th of November Hamish Coleman-Ross and I hosted the NewstalkZB show “The Nutters Club.”

We talked with guests Eteuati Ete, and his wife Mele Wendt.  Early in their marriage of 25 years, comedian of The Laughing Samoans Ete, began to act out violently towards his wife.  After he was convicted of assault, Ete decided to look at his behaviour and commit to making changes. The couple have now found a healthy balance in their relationship without violence and have begun speaking publicly about their challenges in the hope of helping others in similar situations.

With thanks to NZ on Air.
